HOW DOES IV THERAPY WORK?
Intravenous therapy bypasses the GI (gastrointestinal) tract enabling your body to absorb 100% of the vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants. This method quickly and effectively hydrates your body, resulting in a more energized, healthier and better you!
WHAT IS AN IV BAG?
An IV bag is a small plastic bag that contains a unique combination of vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants that are diluted in a normal saline solution. We offer two add-ons:
1. Zofran (for nausea)
2. Toradol (non-narcotic anti-inflammatory)
HOW LONG DOES AN IV TREATMENT TAKE?
IV Therapy typically takes around one hour depending on your unique needs and type of IV Therapy solution.
CAN PREGNANT WOMEN AND CHILDREN RECEIVE IV THERAPY?
Children and pregnant women can get IV therapy, however Crossroads Health DOES NOT treat minors (under 18 years of age) or pregnant women.
WHAT ARE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS TO IV THERAPY?
IV Therapy side effects are minor and temporary:
Possible bruising and soreness at the IV site
Far less common side effects include:
Risk of infection
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IV THERAPY?
IV therapy treatments are tailored for symptoms that occur with over indulgence, cold & flu, athletic recovery, and fatigue. We pride ourselves on offering IV Therapy for general health and wellness needs.
WHAT ARE THE CONTRAINDICATIONS TO IV THERAPY?
IV Therapy is contraindicated in people with kidney and cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, and those with known allergies to any of the IV’s constituents. There is a very rare possibility of an allergic reaction to a nutrients found in the IV. For this reason, a comprehensive history, and intake are performed before beginning treatment.

A complete history will be obtained on each client. Only those with medical clearance will receive treatment. Our provider reserves the right to decline treatment to anyone based on clinical history or being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
HOW MUCH DOES IV THERAPY COST?
Each treatment is $99.
Add-on medications (Zofran and Toradol) are $30 each.
Non-IV options ( Vitamin B12 and LipoVite) are available as well.
WILL MY INSURANCE PAY FOR THIS?
Many insurance companies will not cover this service. We require payment in full at the time of service. We do, however, accept FSA and HSA accounts.
DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?
